Scientific Interests

My main research lies in mathematical imaging and optimization. In particular, I am interested  in combining mathematical modeling with data-driven machine learning strategies with a focus on

  • compressed sensing and sparse regularization.
  • machine learning and information geometry.

Current Research

  • Geometric Data Labeling and Assignment Flows
  • Multilevel Optimization
  • Structured Regularization for Inverse Problems
  • Geometry of Multiplicative Iterative Solvers
  • Tomography From Few Projections: Theory and Algorithms
